It was an all encompassing journey… I bought my ticket thinking I would spend an hour and it wasn’t long enough so I came back later the same day after checking out of my hotel and spend another 1 hour+ (tickeIt's not so easy to write a decent and proper rewiwew of this amazing place without begin trivial and repetitive but is truly a true masterpiece of Singapore ..a place where everyone need to be once iFor anyone even with a remote interest in History and learning from Museums, this attraction is well worth a couple of hours of your time.
Sneak Peek of Living Cubicles Newly renovated and reopened in January 2016, the revamped Chinatown Heritage Centre hardly feels like a museum at all. We came across it by chance but really glad we did. From the harsh living conditions in the migrants’ native land to the new life in Chinatown to the golden years of the 1950s. Great staff- extremely helpful..The kids and I enjoyed the way each exhibit room weaved realistic stories which were fascinating and so brilliantly done! I’m a history nerd and yet I still found my interest flagging towards the end.
