The Ghoulies wreak havoc at an amusement park, disposing of … The little monsters are pretty funny and scary actually. The 1980 anthology film The Monster Club featured a segment about a village of ghouls stumbled upon by an unwary traveller (Stuart Whitman), who temporarily escapes the creatures with the help of one half-human girl, but he is recaptured when it turns out that the ghouls have representatives inhabiting our normal human world.

But when he arrives, a military plane makes an emergency landing, repeating the events of the beginning of the film. There they are attacked by a group of infected. A college teacher brings the little creatures back to his campus, where they proceed to terrorize the faculty and students. The rest is history…and an enjoyable little story with a twist ending. An alien bounty hunter enters a scene of suburban carnage, where something out of this world has been feeding on humans.

They then flee in a stolen ambulance. Now a few years later I saw it again and I think it´s cool.

Ghost movies and shows can fall into a wide range of genres, including romance, comedy, horror, juvenile interest, and drama. Well, it scared the hell out of me at age nine (which said a lot depending at that age and the other films I had seen).

Miller then jolts awake, revealing the whole story to have been a dream. The only way to kill the infected is by destroying their brain. However, they are unable to regenerate red blood cells, leading to their appetite for blood.

The couple continue on foot, trying to evade the zombies who are now roaming the countryside.

Essentially a movie producer goes to a small village in England scouting new locations, when he discovers that the entire village has been overrun with flesh-eating ghouls. They take shelter in a local church, only to find an infected priest, who Miller is forced to kill. After being cryogenically frozen and waking up on a space station in the near future, the Critters aim to have the unwitting crew for lunch.


Directed by Albert Band. I especially like the "toilette" scene. Several zombies attack the TV station, forcing Miller to flee to the hospital.

Depictions of ghosts are as diverse as Casper the Friendly Ghost, Beetlejuice, Hamlet's father, Jacob Marley, Freddy Krueger, and Moaning Myrtle, as well as the traditional spectral spirits and other bumps in the night.
