The main function of Performing Arts BC is to organize provincial level competitions. 35 soloists and 19 ensembles were recommended to attend Provincials this year. Box 22042. The Mae Wilson Theatre will host the final awards events: the Intermediate Grand Awards on May 31 at 7 p.m., the Senior Grand Awards on June 1 at 7 p.m., and the competition to move on to the National Music Festival on June 2 at 9 a.m. Congratulations to all those who were invited to represent the Kiwanis Music Festival of Guelph at this year’s Provincial Finals. Provincial Festival Each regional festival sends its most promising young artists between the ages of 10 and 28 to participate in the annual Provincial Festival. The Alberta Music Festival Association (AMFA) is made up of 36 local festivals, many of which are organized chiefly by volunteers. This means that all entries will be by recorded submission via YouTube. AMFA meetings are held once a year.
