The Oak is very popular and always seems busy, it offers a great menu selection, good sized portions and value for money.Eleven of my family, went here for a meal at lunchtime today and was extremely disappointed by our meals that we had ordered, our chips were not even Luke warm, the onion rings were also over cooked and cold. No apology arrived back from the kitchen for the sub standard food served, we feel very let down by the Oak On The GreenI wouldn't feed my dog the burger I had, over done, skanky bun and they charge the same as The White Horse up the road which is 100 times better.I have been to The Oak on the Green several times and never had a bad experience.
