Despite the game's linearity, but i get that.I didn't play the multiplayer, but i can't imagine it being that amazing anyway (watched some videos right now actually, and it looked good, but nothing spectacular).
The levels that combined puzzles and platforming were always the best parts of the games for me (well apart from the uber-scripted set pieces). I could be shooting at someone 10 feet away. You start to notice it after a whileIn regards to game mechanics, "tight" often refers to responsiveness, ease of movement and agency over your character (I'm in cover position A and want to be in cover position B, how smoothly can that be done? On higher difficulties you need to play a bit more defensive which makes the game less fun imo.The puzzles are quite easy, but I think that's suitable for a game like Uncharted. I also love how the destructible cover and low ammo discourage you from staying in one place too long (along with map design and enemy AI).OP my response is get good. I hate how rolling and sticky-covering is the same button though. It's not a bad game but its not anywhere nearly Uncharted 2 levels as the metacritic score suggests.
The 3rd person shooting, the puzzles and platforming bits where good and helped with what i thought was the best part of the game. Why do people, especially reviewers tend to say the shooting or combat in Uncharted is weak or just passable. I'm not a fan of just mashing a single button and watching my character on screen performing amazing acrobatic maneuvers with precision.
At least that was my experience on hard.i just hated that my pistol was better than an ak-47.Are the people saying that the gunplay is poor, just not like third person shooters in general? I've since played with it some more for hours, and I'm actually taking to it quite well.

I did enjoy the puzzles though for the most part. ND need to step up their shit and make this game with proper exploration. Before I critique this game, I want to note that Uncharted 4 is a visual masterpiece, and all of the voice actors turn in great performances. They really need to switch that control scheme around so that you have better, more responsive control over your character. I didn't feel the shooting was good enough to make it awesome when pvping.EDIT: On the other hand, i was playing a shooter with a controller.
