After a bit of further guidance, we got our menus, our "proper" seating, and our drinks. Great find in the Highlands!We stopped here for lunch a couple of weeks ago after our guide recommended this restaurant. I can’t fault the Fig and Thistle.Myself and my family came to say our good byes to our father and after his send off we thought we will take in the sites. It took sometime to get our order taken as it appeared only one person was taking orders despite the two other gals walking about. Service was just perfect, meal delicious, all COVID compliant whole evening was fantastic.

The service is outstanding and the food is fresh and prepared lovingly! I can not advise you! A bit begrudgingly, the hostess sat us at a double table without much indication of which half of this seating we were to sit on. This just so happened to be one of the best meals we had while we were in Scotland.

You are accepted no matter what you wear. The service has always been excellent on previous visits and despite all the current Covid restrictions there is no drop in standards.
